Baseball, golf and baseball

What a week, actually the past 2 weeks have been forever long! Friday’s don’t come fast enough for me!

Friday night Bryanna had a Markette Clinic at the high school so she was super excited. Kinder through 5th graders get to go hang out with the High School Markettes and they teach them a dance and a cheer. The kids get to perform what they learned to the parents at the end of the clinic. It was pretty cute and Bryanna did much better this time then last time! While Bry was off dancing Kaela, Jonathan and I went to grab some good Mexican food and went shopping. The kids have been in desperate need of shorts!!

Saturday Jonathan had a baseball game so that was the highlight of our day! We were at the ball park for close to 3 ½ hours. It’s so much fun to watch this age group. While Jonathan practiced before the game I sat and watched other teams play, I caught myself cheering for kids I didn’t even know but you tend to get caught up in the games very quickly especially when kids are catching fly balls and hitting balls into the outfield! The Tigers won 13-10! Jonathan had 3 great hits, 2 were in the outfield! He had a few balls come to him in the outfield but is still having a hard time catching them in the air, it’s all timing…he is still learning. Jonathan ended up going and hitting golf balls with Grandpa later on in the day and the girls decided to bake cakes.

Sunday was a lazy day. The weather was awesome so we went to Carlos’ softball games and came home and played more baseball with the kids until it got dark outside!

Jonathan has another game tonight and tomorrow so he has a busy week in front of him! Kaela has more TAKS testing this week so she is nervous about that! Bryanna has a field trip to the Butterfly Museum which is pretty neat; if you have bright colors on they will land on you!

I still havent uploaded the pictures from Jaimes shower, they are on our other camera. But here are a few pictures of the girls and their cakes. We had a slight accident with Bry's cake, it dropped but we "glued" it back together with icing...YUM!

Kaela and her cake

Bryanna and her cake. This girl LOVES to be in the kitchen. She was up early Sunday morning making something for her class with Jagi.

Both my girls - they are getting so big!
