This weekend was Carlos’ grandfathers 82nd birthday so they had a big bash for him. He has been pretty sick lately so they were very glad to be able to get together for him and celebrate. He said when the mariachi band showed up his heart started racing so fast, he was very excited! I had told the kids before we left there would be a lot of family they had never met. When we were on our way home yesterday one of them said, ALL of those people were related to us? YUP – there must have been over 20 kids alone, HUGE familia! Jonathan was in heaven, there were so many boys to play with, I barely saw him the entire day. Even though it was hot as heck we had a great time.
