This blog is not intended to be a brag page for my children, it is to keep everyone who is far away updated on what’s going on in our lives and to share photos BUT I am going to brag just a bit about how proud I am of my children’s accomplishments:
Swim team is officially over for us. Last night we had our final meet and boy was it great! Although the Alligators lost they ended the season 4-1!
Jonathan had 3 heats, medley relay, free style and back stroke – he won 1st place in all 3 heats! He was so excited about this achievement and frankly so were we! It melts my heart to see how passionate he is about everything he does; he is a true competitor and has real love for all sports.
Kaela only had 1 heat last night, she was bummed. She had to swim against her really good friend. It is very hard to cheer on your own daughter when she is racing against a friend so we simply cheered for the both of them. She really wanted Sara to win the race, which she ended up doing. When the race ended Kaela got out of the water went over to hug Sara and told her “great race”. That is Kaela for you, kind hearted person, always caring about others before her own self. She really had a great season!
Bryanna loves swimming probably more than anything else. Sports aren’t really her thing, baking, coloring and just being LOUD are her passions but when it comes to being in the water she excels! She has learned a lot this year, breathing, strokes and kicking and it has shown. She won 1st place on her last heat and was thrilled to end the season off with a great win!
I am sure you are all thinking…ok Flores family what is next? Yup you know it – we aren’t done yet! Jonathan starts summer baseball July 2nd! Kaela is stuck between doing Tae Kwan Do or gymnastics with Bryanna in August…decisions decisions!
